I have to give Bombay Palace a glowing review. Friends, the husband, and I have
eaten here several times now and have yet to be disappointed. The decor is attractive
(though I wish they'd take the "Do not touch the fish" sign off the pretty elephant),
and the first thing I noticed walking in the door is that it smelled really
good inside! Service has always been unimpeachable – fast, friendly, and with
an air of real hospitality. We always receive our food in a very reasonable
amount of time, even though we always order from the menu. And the food is delicious!
We have not been disappointed by anything. Portion size is just right to feel
pleasantly full, with the occasional leftover if we go too crazy on the appetizers.
The naan breads are always fresh and hot – I especially enjoy the garlic naan,
which is very heavy on the garlic. They will prepare your food to whatever level
of spiciness you desire, and after having eaten there a couple of times, the
chef knows that when we say we like it hot, just how hot is perfect! Tonight,
we ordered some regular samozas, as well as the samoza chaat – rich with spices,
chick peas, yoghurt dressing and tamarind. They make among the best samozas
I've eaten. This evening, I tried their Boti Kabab for the first time, while
the other members of our party ordered Lamb Korma, Chicken Curry, and Chicken
Vindaloo. Everyone else's food arrived together before mine, and as the server
returned to the kitchen to retrieve mine, my friends and husband kidded about
how they were going to dig in to their delicious food and I'd have to watch.
And then, there was an incredible sizzling sound, followed by a delicious spicy
aroma. My Boti Kabob was brought out on a searing hot plate, the large chunks
of marinated and spiced meat and fresh vegetables cooking before my eyes. I'd
ordered mine extra-spicy, and the clouds of steam went straight up my nose in
a pleasant burn. This was easily the most phenomenal dish I've been served at
Bombay Palace. Each chunk of lamb was tender, just faintly pink in the middle,
and seasoned to absolute perfection. The fresh peppers and onions were caramelized
where they touched the hot plate, and crisp above, the whole surmounted by slices
of lemon, cilantro, and spices. It was heavenly, and I devoured it. I can also
recommend their Lassis (although you might want to share one, as they are very
rich), as well as the Tarkha Dal and Shahi paneer. They have a good selection
of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, all equally good. I don't usually
drink when I eat out, but they have a bar and a nice selection of dinner wines
and beer. Excellent service, great food, low wait times – I heartily recommend
the Bombay Palace for dinner any time.

I will preface this 5 star review with this; I don't eat a whole lot of Indian
food, in fact I really only have 'Jewell of India' to compare against so I may
not have a fine developed palette for this type of food. It is, however, the
best Indian restaurant I currently know of. The Mrs and I gave this place a
try tonight when the neighboring "casita de durango" was not open for some reason.
This is a family owned restaurant that opened in Feb. The staff/family was very
friendly and quick to please. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of
decor and dining arrangements. For some reason I feel good about helping out
the little guy and I think they did a good job on the setup. The entrepreneur
in me respects the monster loan they would have taken out to get the place going.
We asked for our food extra spicy, and they gladly obliged. Both our dishes
came quite hot and sauces and garnishes was much higher quality than jewell
of india IMHO. The lamb, however, was not very lean and therefor quite chewy.
The meat is the only thing that had a strike against it. I'll definitely give
this place another chance, and I am willing to bet that it may have been an
off night for their meat or something. Based on the other reviews I saw, I'm
guessing this is true as well.

The service here is very friendly. The owner is one of the cooks, and cares
what you think. Their lunch buffet is always delicious, and their Sunday dinner
buffet always has something lamb on it. The buffet is a great value. The restaurant
is very clean

I really love this place. It is a hidden Gem in Broomfield located in the plaza
across from the Target on Nickel. The lunch buffet is a great value. The family
that owns it is wonderful and very accommodating to my two young children. My
five year old son and the manager have become fast friends and while my kids
have trouble with spicy foods they have plenty to eat with a mild noodle dish
and a drink my children crave on a daily basis called a Mango Lassie. Delicious!
My favorite dish is the Chicken Makhani and it is available on the lunch buffet,
at least it has been there every time we have and we go often. The Naan is the
best I have had, it is crisp, flaky and wonderful. Dinner here is also great.
They serve alcohol and the family style dining is plentiful, fresh and very
tasty. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. If you love Indian food I am
sure you will be very pleased

I love this place. First I'm all about local love and second the food is top
notch. There's a good balance of flavors offered in their buffet. Something
for everyone. Mild to spicy, veggies to meat. Friendly staff, nice clean restaurant.
It's odd, I never eat at buffets except for Indian. Go figure.

A very good place for Indian food. Have enjoyed the buffet many times. It's
available for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as during lunch
the rest of the week. At about $10 per plate, it's a bargain, and allows one
to sample a wide range of dishes from the menu. The food is quite good, and
tastes like home cooking. Dishes do vary from one week to the next, with some
unusual things, such as chili chicken, available periodically. The saag is always
delicious, and a full range of condiments is available. Finally, they have superb
kheer, and often have mango custard as well. I highly recommend this place,
and hope that more people in Broomfield will give it a try!
